I'm a PvX with currently the least motivation to PvP as ever due to the lack of progression and variety.Game developers often pamper their fans with new titles being launched during each new year and 2021 is not an exception. There is much PvP stuff in it, I hope to also get discussions going with PvE players. If you bring up anything I didn't consider properly I may adjust my list. I held it as short and precise as possible, since usually we get huge wall of texts.

Rated arenas with MMR/Divisions/ Elo and all that jazz.

Appearence Change feature, and more faces, hairs, scars and facial paintings.

Last and least: Weapon Balancing (jk it is somewhat important, but IMHO less important than proper content).

Uncouple Wars from territory control and replace with something more casual friendly).

And never ever do anything on a daily cooldown again - always use weekly and reset on Tuesday like mutation)

Remove daily cooldowns, replace with weekly cooldown 7 times the amount.

Tune rewards and frequency accordingly (but let it be a random timer) Some designed for Solo, some for Group, some for Raids. But only accessible for PvP flagged players.

Add dynamic Open World Faction PvP events like Special PvP portals, World bosses or whatever.

Cross Server Training WARS (this might even lead to tournaments).

Add public quests (like Warhammer Online) most for PvE some PvP only and reward them properly (add weekly cap on it so nobody min/max the fun out of it).

Add weapon spec and attribute allocation to the gear slot.

Proper Raids (Rebalance Tempest for 10 or 20 ppl example).

OPR/Arena dynamic map rotation (every match rolls a map, not every 2 months.).

Reward / reenable old content like pve arenas, soul trials, corrupted Portals properly (add weekly cap on it so nobody min/max the fun out of it).
